Feel Old much???

Post by ScarletB »

So, I'm in a local theatre production and one of the keets (10 -11 yr old) in the cast sees my SPOL tour T-shirt and asks "Is Jimmy Buffett the guy that sings Margaritaville"? Always happy to educate the younguns about Jimmy I said yes. His next question was "Is he still alive??" I cracked up.
I told him how old Jimmy was and he said "And he's still touring????"

If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

On Christmas day, we were also celebrating my cousins birthday. My 6 year old keet spoke up and said, "do you know who else has a birthday today?" Everyone was like what a good boy, he is going to mention Jesus...then my son pipes up and says, " JIMMY BUFFETT"! I was one proud parent at that point!! HA! :D

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

Some of the best concerts I've been to over the past few years have been old rockers.

Styx
Journey
REO Speedwagon
Jimmy Buffett

These guys are in great shape, they look great sound awesome and still know how to do a show. Wherever they tour, they leave a footprint for a long time.

What's the saying?? "60 is the new 40"

Go Jimmy!
