Man, don't you love summer fruit?
We just got back from picking cherries off my mother in law's tree....they are so sweet that it's like eating candy!
Last weekend we picked up some fresh apricots from one of the local orchards.....the raspberries are wonderful this year.....can't wait for peaches!!
Just one of those great summer things!!

Don't have a lot of fresh fruit nearby for just picking, have to go to the store for it.........but talking of fresh cherries reminds me of when we were younger, had to walk by a fruit stand to get to downtown,,,,,,,,,,and we always sampled the fresh cherries on the way by  :)

Have fresh figs ripening on the tree,VERY SWEET. The tomatoes are ripening about every other day or so too!!
Then there agoing to be some fresh grapes before long and ready to be picked.

The satsumas and oranges won't be ready util after the first freeze/cold snap. ( It makes them sweeten up though they look ripe long before...)
Currently some are about the size of raquet balls.
