Pirates of the Caribbean II

Saw it yesterday.

Loved it!!! Unclear plot, non-ending and all.

Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley and Davy Jones' weird sea creatures make it all worthwhile...

Sigh...

Main reason why I'll see it.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

She looks a bit like a better looking, hotter, young Brooke Shields...
Very expressive eye brows and lip curls. :D

:D Just got back. We really enjoyed it. Some things were just as fun as the first, some things 'ok', some things were great. I'd watch it again.

Make sure you sit through all the credits.

I loved it to.

I just don't understand how they filmed some of those scenes w/o passing out (beach scenes mainly). Alot was filmed in St. Vincent and Virgin islands. I've been to Grenada, which is very close to St. Vincents. I never wore the shorts I brought. It was so hot, if I wasn't in a bikini, I only wore a tank top with sarong. And I love the heat. I just cannot imagine with those costumes and I noticed they were not sweating really. Amazing to me.

So when can we actually talk about the Movie? :pirate:

Elizabeth talks about the moment that Jack will stand up and make the right decision blahblah.

This is one of them.

Saw the movie at the Gem theater in Beaverton Michigan.

Going to the movie there is such a great experience. Small town, cute little theater...movies are $5.00.

The ship that was in the film as the Black Pearl will be sailing into Bay City Michigan this month for the Tall Ships festival.., :D

Caught a late matinee today. It was sold out. Good flick with some great lines as previously noted.

The tallship used in the movie is the same ship used in TheBounty She was home ported in St. Petersburg, (I think) Florida. I posted a link elsewhere where she can be tracked. Last thing I saw about the ship, she was going through a refit in Maine. ( The same ship was used in a porno flick that caused "some disturbence" within the community, where the ship was home ported. Supposedly all of the sex scenes were filmed in California and not aboard the vessel.)
Roll with the punches, play all of your hunches...come what may...

Thanks for the heads up about staying through the credits. :)

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar
