Help compiling a Jimmy rareties cd?

hi everyone, so I have this extremely mental idea of compiling a Jimmy box set for my boss for Christmas. She is a huge Parrot Head and such a great person, I just want to do something really nice for her. I got all the albums and such in place, but I was thinking about including a couple of discs (however many it takes) worth of b-sides, rareties and live cover songs. But I need help finding the songs. The official b-sides from soundtracks and compilations I imagine are easy enough to obtain. It is the unreleased songs and the exhausting amount of cover songs the are listed on BuffetNews.com 145!!!! granted some of them are on official realeases so I can ommit them, but that still leaves over a 100.

I would appreciate any and all help with these tracks.
I'll be honest I am not a Parrot Head, but I think I might be coming around thanks to listening to Jimmy's music for hours on ends just to make sure there are no glitches on this box set. Plus I am convinced Parrot Heads can out party anyone at the concerts I go to, you all seem to have so much fun, I think it is fantastic.

So I'll be honest I don't have any Jimmy related stuff to offer, but I would be more then happy to offer any other type of stuff or B&P and then some. So any help I would really appreciate it.

thanks

WOW thanks for all the leads and everything, I think my eyes are swimming in the amazment of how many songs this man really has, forgive me I only know the major hits still played on common radio, resturants, drug stores, and bars. I just might have to make a box set just for the rareties. I am starting to see why my boss likes Jimmy so much, his music is fun, and the few live shows I have downloaded, he and the Reefers are extremly talented musicians. I also like how he tends to mix up the set list, a problem I have with many modern acts is that they play the same 15 songs every night, this man gives at least 25! Do you know how long it has been since I have been to a concert were an artist played over 20 songs.

I'm looking for some advice using the WSFTP program or to down load some songs. Some songs will download ok and others 'the file is not found'.. I don't have an option when I rightclick to save file to folder. I downloaded WSFTP and went to ftp://jimmybuffett.servebeer.com/ and only a few files are shown.
Thanks in advance for help.

There is also "West Coat Highway" on the Evangaline album (Margaritaville Records) that came out in '93 on which Jimmy sang back up.

I compiled one of these a number of years ago. Included were "Don't Bug Me" from the Aracnophobia (?) soundtrack, as well as songs from "Urban Cowboy" and "Fast Times at Ridgemont High"

There used to be a website that a guy named Bob (I think had) that JBs legal staff went after like a shark after wounded fish or seal. He had old and obscure stuff that Jimmy did not play anymore. All for free. They ended up settling out of court. The site stayed u but seems to be gone now.
I have the radio broadcast Jimmy did, among a very few other obscure things, such as his first ( I think it is) appearence on Austin City Limits on VHS.

You might want to check with the person that owns this site or to compare what you have or might need.

Good luck and all the best!
