Hey!Image I have a question maybe former service personnel can answer.
When you're composing a "to any soldier" message, what is an appropriate greeting?
"Dear service man or woman" sounds pretty hokey.

My unit recieved letters from a group that always started with "To my fellow American"

Made me feel pretty good.

Dear friend or better yet...no "Dear". Just say something like..... Greetings from Sunny Florida! Then procede with your message. Thats what I did on the Christmas Cards last year.... which reminds me.... never heard baclk from any of them... and I enclosed a stamp in each one. :(
