they can.

a wasp got me the other night. i was getting in my truck and it was late and hubby had left the windows rolled down. there was a little booger waiting for me and stung the p*ss outta my finger.

:o :o :-? :-? :-? :-? Got stung by a wasp on my pinkie when I was a kid. My arm swelled up from the elbow down. it hurt like hell. And since then, I'm petrified of ANYTHING in the 'bee' family. :evil:

heck no, that makes me loopy...I'm just going to be on a mission to rid the world of stingers now....and Mal...glad to hear that you are doing well with the smoking thing...you just may inspire me to try again :D

Some folks say to use meat tenderizer. I got hit by a yellow jacket not too too long ago. Didn't have any tenderizer... I remembered in the past using a paste of baking soda and tobacco. That finally did the trick.

(I had to go next door and find a half smoked one in the street. :wink: )

I tried to use a beer...or two...or three...or...well, you get the point...didn't help...too many phriends getting stung...again, death to all stingers!!!

when my Dad kept Bees we had spirits of Ammonia (not the MR Clean type)
you have to get it at the Drug Store (the old Mom and Pop places
it keeps forever and works..
