My little guy has the same skin issues. We have tried numerous sunscreens. Waterbabies ( and all Coppertone products) made him break out all over in a NASTY rash.
We have been using Banana Boat 50 for a year with no rash! They still get a nice tan, but no rash or burn!
This summer, we also tried a spray on gel by Bullfrog. He broke out the first time, but not again after that. The only downside to it is the highest spf is 35 for the spray. It is a clear gel spray that covers without rubbing and spotting. (It dries almost instantly)

I know several people that have dealt with skin cancer, one of which is my mother-in-law. All of their dermotologists had the exact same advice: Use Blue Lizard sunscreen!

It is expensive, but is by far the best stuff on the market. I don't know how it reacts to sensitive skin, but you can read all about it here:

Food City is about the only place around here to get it other than privately owned pharmacies. They have a retail locator on the website that I posted the link to so you can find it in your area.

I thought I was allergic to sunscreen/sunblock, but it turns out it was just something in the water babies (and I used it thinking it was gentler!). I also love the BullFrog, but the gel can dry too quickly and it rolls off in gross strips. I love Coppertone Bug & Sun- it's stinky, but it does have a good insect repellant, so it's great for time around mosquito-y places.
