I don't care how comforable they are- Clarks are comfortable too, and at least they look like real shoes, but you'll still never catch me in them!

Remember Tiddies?

http://realtiddiessandals.com/history.htm

What a croc!!!

TIDDIES as Sandals and FLIP FLOPS :
Details are hard to come by, but it appears that there used to be a brand of sandals called "TIDDIES" that were originally made in the 1970's in Texas by a guy named Kevin Bruce Brown - a surfer and artist from Pasadena, Texas. The sandals sort of fizzled out in the 1980's and resurfaced again in the 90's, becoming quite popular due to consumer demand. You can search the internet and find quite a number of people that were looking for them and could not find them. The guy that originally invented them (Kevin Bruce Brown) sold them to an associate, and it was him that started making them again in the 90's. He was sued by the original person that bought them and they took the trademark back. He stopped selling TIDDIES and began manufacturing an improved version of the sandal called "PIRATE BRAND SANDALS". TIDDIES sandals seems to have a loyal following among people who visit the beach a lot and there are a lot of people who are very nostalgic about them.
[Outdoor Forum] " Invented by a couple of drunk surfers, and sold under the trademarked name of "Tiddies", until the Feds made them change the name due to obscenity concerns. These feel great on the feet. Check them out."

I tried a pair of them but they're really only good for water sports. Plus they're a b*tch to get on and off.

I have a pair of the wannabe crocs from Payless, the flip flops and I love them. I think the croc mules are ugly too, however, I was introduced to Jibbitz the other day, and well, I may just have to get a pair to get some jibbitz! :) :)

http://www.jibbitz.com/

I found some tropical ones I ebay that are way cute! I know a couple of nurses that wear them all the time as well. Croc mules that is. My mom wears them as well.

I think they're ugly too for the most part
A couple of years ago I got some sandals called Okabashi at Publix of all places for around 10 bucks. They're all rubber and are the most comfortable shoes that I own. Mine are brown though

I never would ware a pair of those. They're big with divers, and my mom loves she has quite a few pairs. She brought home a pair of just black flaps. And forced me and my dad to try them on and they are the most comfortable flaps I've ever tried.

I wish I could've invested in them though. I think the first year they made about 15 million. Last year I think they made 105 million.
