The reason I ask is the other day in the Company Cafeteria I saw a gentleman slather it on Cottage Cheese.
One thing I do (when I get the chance) is to put it in the popcorn oil before putting in the popcorn. A few dashes gives the popcorn a really nice kick.
SAVE THE EARTH
It's the only Planet that has chocolate.
I learned to like Tabasco Sauce when I was in the Army. They include a small bottle in every MRE. MRE stands for Meal Ready to Eat. They are the field rations. But I would empty that bottle into the meal pouch to totally obscure any flavor that the meal may have possessed. I figured that burnt taste buds were a small price to pay for not actually tasting the corned beef and hash.

I thought MRE stood for Meals Refused by Etheopians

We tend to delude oursleves in the Army. But thanks for correcting me.
To the point of the thread, which I didn't answer on my first go around. I can't eat Tabassco without thinking of those MRE's. So I try to avoid it.

It also stands for Meals Rejected by Everybody
You got the new type MREs with bread and heaters didn't you?
We had the old types when I was in USAF. No Tobasco in those, you had to get your own bottle. I don't know if the makers of Tobasco still does this or not, but they used to send free bottles to Active Duty troops that wrote them.
I have eaten it on many other things, but like you I have tended to get away from using it. I do use "Trappey's La Bull Sauce". It has a nice flavor, not much bite ( unles you over use it) as Tobasco.
Roll with the punches, play all of your hunches...come what may... POW-MIA, YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN!!!

We also make some sweet hot pickles by cutting up a gallon of dill pickles and putting them back in the pickle jar and filling it up with 5 lbs sugar and a bottle of Tabasco.
My husband puts in on everything I cook like it's the MREs!!!!
I love getting down to Avery Island. Beautiful place.
