250 Concerts

So I'm driving into work today and the local morning dorks, Dwyer and Michaels (its OK, they call themselves that) are talking with two guys from Quincey Illinois who have seen REO Speedwagon 250 times.

I don't get it. Can you imagine anyone being that obsessed with one group (or performer) that they would utterly devote their entire life to it. Have you ever heard such redic.........ummmm.......wait.

I like REO Speedwagon and have seen them 17 or 18 times, the problem with them is the show NEVER changes, they haven't had a studio cd out in 12 years, and all they put out are compilations. "Keep on Lovin' You" is on at least 12 cd's. And they only play 75-80 minutes.

And since Dave Amato and Brian Hitt joined the band in 1990, there has been a grand total of 1 studio album, although a new one is supposed to come this year.
