With the talk of fried pickles at Hooters, I was wondering about peoples thoughts of their wings.

I am so not a wing expert. However, the wings at Hooters are ok. I love their buffalo shrimp. I can get wings cheaper and better elsewhere. But if I go to Hooters, then I can have fried pickles. It's a give and take!

Yep! Exactly.

I'm a big fan of buffalo wings... Hooters wings are on the lower spectrum of my tastes... I don't care for the breaded style.

I was a buffalo wing virgin until I had Hooters wings, at a Dallas Hooters, (some years ago, Tulsa didn't even have a Hooters at the time) ... the w/e of the OK/Texas football game.
the first time should be memorable, and for the breaded ones, personally, I think they're tops..

Les asked me where I wanted to go for my birthday... I told him Hooters - We had the bucket of Oyters, pitcher of beer and wings....
I like all kinds of wings - these are different but I am not a picky eater in the slightest so it was a great meal out!
Of course He dsn't mind the "ambiance" Hooters had to offer

Breaded is the only way to go (IMHO, of course)...and I love Hooters' wings, but they could be hotter.

Take 'em or leave 'em.
If I'm having them, they are nekkid and all drums. Loco's is across the street from Hooters and their wings are about the size of drumsticks. I'll go there if I'm in the need for wings.

Pizza Huts aren't bad...sometimes..you take what's available..45 miles from Tulsa..Hooters wasn't always an option..
it's farther to J'ville Hooters than Tulsa Hooters..
sooo I'm glad to get them w/o fixing them myself..although, I've fixed some pretty darn good ones..
Hot wings might possibly be my most favorite

Hot wings are my favorite food. I wish I could get paid to eat them
I prefer them breaded with blue cheese and the hotter the better although I think I'm starting to get an ulcer from years of hot food.
Hooters rank "pretty good" on my list...Not the best but good enough for both pro and amateur alike.
I also like their buffalo shrimp.
Before I ever started going there I used to think that the place was all about boobs but their food is not bad at all to me..
It's a win win TITuation!!!

The best tables are the taller ones with the barstools.
If the waitress is the right height, her rack will almost sit on the table.
When that happens, it's the best!!!

I also like their mahi mahi sandwich......not the greatest but those of us that are landlocked don't have many places to choose from.
Has anyone tried the hooters wings and/or buffalo shrimp that you can get in the freezer section at the grocery store now? I almost bought some today but passed. They are a bit pricey on my budget esp. if I don't know if they are any good or not.

We buy TGIF buffalo wings in the frozen ....or the Banquet bbQ honey wings...
we tried the frozen shrimp (Hooters) , probably the coconut shrimp...not as good as the brand we normally buy and the wt. per pkg. was less..
we can get fresh shrimp here off the roadside, (for grilling)... $5.99/lb...

Hooters wings are ok with me, I have better and I have had far worse.
About the only wings I will buy frozen in stores are "Banquet Honey Mustard" wings, though occasionally get some T.G.I.F. Wings and tator skins. (I don't care for the Tyson brand at all.)
I sometimes get the Banquet Honey Mustard wings on sale at 2 boxes for $5.00 or something like that, normally about $3.50 or so a box. Not spicey at all and perfect for me....I usually add a little Trappeys La. Bull Sauce to them. I prefer and feel the breaded wings are much better.

I've only been to Hooters once, they have an order of 20 wings with a bottle of Dom Perignon on the menu. When we ordered it, the waitress looked at us and said "Really??!!"

She was even more shocked when we ordered a second one.

Hooters wings are very good. Personally, I like Wings to Go better (not sure if that's a national chain or not).
Hooters wings were far better at the Hooters casino in vegas. I was actually able to get one of the floor waitresses to bring me an order on the slot floor. They were so nice there

The sauce tasted different there, but maybe it was just me.

Hooters is the Budweiser of the wing world. Cheap, mass-produced, over-hyped, and successfully marketed to the inbred dentally-impaired segment of the population.
