Wouldn't ARK likely go to the Capital One Bowl as the # 2 SEC team?
The Capital One Bowl as traditionally shyed away from inviting the SEC championship loser. I don't think Tenn, will go, even though I am a Tennessee fan, I think Auburn will get the nod or even LSU depending how the BCS at large bids go. But I could be wrong, its most likely the Outback Bowl for Tennessee.

Well, I can't say I'm surprised. Being a HUGE Michigan fan I obviously was hoping for a chance to get the rematch in the National Title Game. But in being perfectly honest, I gotta give the spot to Florida. Mind you Florida has been very unimpressive in many of it's wins this year, (Florida State, Georgia & Vandy) and probably should have lost to LSU & South Carolina but I'm from the school that if you play a decent schedule you shouldn't have to worry about "Style Points".....Just winning week after week is good enough for me. While Michigan wasn't very big on Style Points this year either, 2 things make me give the nod to Florida. One is the fault of Michigan, their pourous defensive showing in the final game against OSU. That can't be ignored. This was suppossed to be a strength, the equalizer if you will, to take out the Buckeyes. Instead it was a joke and discounted the strong showing the "D" put out there the rest of the season. The 2nd reason is not Michigan's fault, The strength of or rather the lack of strength of the rest of the Big Ten. Iowa & Michigan State's poor showing in the conference this season hurt Michigan greatly. I believe the SEC was overrated this year, however, the Big Ten was wayyy down.

So Gator fan, congrats to you but don't be happy that you made the title game. Go out there and SMOKE those Buckeyes!!!
Very classy post, Dr. Corona. I have alot of respect for you. You know your football and call it like you see it. I totally agree with what you said. I have the belief that if you don't win your conference championship, you shouldn't play in the Title Game. Also, anytime the team that plays the #1 toughest schedule in the nation with only one loss and wins the SEC, they should be playing for the Title. It should be a great game! I hope your Wolverines wipe the floor with USC! I can't believe I'm saying this, but........Go Gators! Go SEC!

Capitol One Bowl..........Tennessee vs. Wisconsin

Liberty Bowl..........South Carolina vs. Houston
Well, some of my predictions were right.

Ohio State / Florida in the Title Game will be a heck of a game. Ohio State looks better to me, but I just don't know how strong the Big 10 is. Remember Vandy gave Michigan all they wanted in the opening game.

I can't wait for LSU to expose Notre Lame once again in the Sugar Bowl. Fat Boy Weis will cry his way off the field. LSU's fans will be loud and rowdy, mark my word on that!

I wanted Tennessee to play in Orlando, but we'll gladly take the Outback in Tampa. It will be an honor to put JoePa out of his misery.

Arkansas deserves to play in the Capitol One bowl and will thump Wisconsin. I just hope their fans travel well, because I think they would have rather been in Dallas.

Auburn vs. Nebraska in the Cotton Bowl should be a great matchup. I think Auburn is a great team, but Nebraska has really come on lately.

Virginia Tech will probably beat Georgia in the Peach Bowl, but they did finish strong the last couple of weeks with their QB comming on, so who knows.

Kentucky did get the nod over South Carolina in the Music City Bowl, but they will struggle with a good Clemson team. Clemson will score alot of points. I love the CATS and will be pulling hard for them, but I'm afraid Clemson will get them in this one.

South Carolina will represent the SEC in the Liberty Bowl vs. Houston. Spurrier will teach the Cougars a few things.

Alabama did make the Independence against Oklahoma State. With all that's going on in Tuscaloosa these days, who knows about this one.

Its a proud day for the SEC. We not only have a team in the National Championship Game, we also have 2 teams in the BCS and 9 of our 12 teams playing in bowl games. Its time to make some statements and show how strong the best conference in the nation is!

I don't wanna hear THAT argument. If it's clear the best 2 teams come from the same conference under this current system let them play a rematch for the championship game! OSU didn't blow out Michigan otherwise I'd question a rematch also. If Arkansas would have beat Florida in the SEC title game you're telling me that USC, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisville, Wake Forest, Notre Dame or Boise State would have been more deserving?? :-? Having saying that I still think the Gators deserved it.

Remember, Vandy gave FLORIDA all they could handle LATE in the season!!! :o

This 1 WILL be interesting...Wisky not playing anyone out of conference gives us no idea what they really have. Time to step up Bucky Badger!!

I would not call Auburn a great team...they were lucky to beat LSU and South Carolina...should have been a 4 loss team!

Michigan.......don't sit back & whine about your situation....focus on USC and get the Rose Bowl crown in memory of Bo!!!
