A question of my own:
In the past, the BCS always rotated the National Championship Game between the 4 BCS bowl games. This year, it's its own bowl game?
Rose Bowl: USC/Michigan
Fiesta: Boise St/Oklahoma
Sugar: LSU/ND
Orage: Wake/Louisville
Nat'l Champ: Ohio St/FLorida

LOL...I'm really excited to see 9 SEC teams in bowl games. The most of anyone. We represent the best conference in football very well. Good luck to all of them. And I can't believe I'm saying this but...here it goes...Go Gators! More importantly Go Vols!Bob Roberts wrote:12vmanRick wrote:well now that we see what is going on good luck ALL SEC teams, even TennesseeRick, have you been drinking?

Glendale, AZ. (Fiesta Bowl). It is played at the site of one of the 4 BCS games. Basically, there is a second game played at the site of whichever BCS game has the title game that year one week later.jonesbeach10 wrote:Where is it this year?weirdo0521 wrote:Yes. Despite his protests, West Virginia coach Rich Rodriguez is interested in the Alabama job.

so stressful. I still don't think he'll go. I refuse to believe it. I think he's using it for leverage to get what he wants here at WVU-new facilities & raises for his coaches.
I guess I'll believe when I see it. *sigh*
My reasoning: Rich grew up in WV, played here. He's a West Virginian that wants to see WVU become a top program. That'll never happen if he leaves. Big East schools have to put their foot down. We apparently are the 'big least' but everybody wants our coaches.
I'm tired of being looked at as a 'stepping stone' conference!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
dont' leave Rich

I would have guessed he was staying based on being a WVU guy. But his quotes from less than a week ago certainly don't add up to his actions this week.

Being Big Dog of the SEC holds more prestige than being Big Dog of the Big East.

Sorry, but most conferences around the country care about the SEC. IT is, all around the best football conference in the country. 9 teams out of 12 are going to a bowl game this year!!!MelliJellyBean wrote:NOOOOOOO!!!! The SEC has usually been the prominent football conference for years. West Virginia is better than "some" SEC teams, but overall the Big East does not hold a candle to the SEC. I'll give the Big East their props in basketball. They're great. But...oh wait...the SEC won the Championship in that last year. And there's some guy name Bruce Pearl building another powerhouse. Enjoy your fame while it lasts.

LOL no dude, It's all about the SEC at this point. I mean since Tennessee made it into a bowl, and one that's better than GA I might add. It's all about SEC strength at this point. Hell, I am even pulling for Florida.Bob Roberts wrote:12vmanRick wrote:well now that we see what is going on good luck ALL SEC teams, even TennesseeRick, have you been drinking?

damn, first I have to pull for Tennessee now I have to agree with a Tennessee fan.. but you are SO right, the SEC is a major powerhouse in college football. Look at the amount of teams in the top 10 from the SEC at any given time then at the end of the season when we all have to play each other we still have most of them in the top 15 or so and like what was said earlier 9 teams in bowl games.Papa T wrote:Who?
