Now Harrison Ford is running down the bleachers, and a huge boulder is rolling behind him...and look, Judy Garland is clicking her heels....and Jimmy Stewart is crying....and Ted Striker is landing the plane at midfield...

Hey,,,so Oklahoma is steeped in a rich history of a winning football team...
ya know, If you're the big dog,....you've earned it....
it's the sports announcers that called OU the big dog...if this is Boise's biggest win, congratulations...
fortunately, it's not OU's biggest loss...
of course...this is the first OU game I've seen since I moved to Georgia..so it was good to see them play...
'gotta love my Sooners...(as well as UGA Bulldogs)

I don't think OSU & Florida can follow this act. Hope it's a good game, but it won't possibly be as entertaining.

Yeah, thanks!
I lived in Hawaii for several years, so I'm fairly familiar with the Western Athletic Conference, which, I feel, has never gotten the recognition they deserve, but JUST ONCE when one of these ego-maniacs proposes on national TV or has a marriage proposal written on the scoreboard at a baseball game, JUST ONCE I'd like to see the girl say
MYGODALLMIGHTYHELLNO, and get the focus back on what's REALLY important-
THE GAME!!!
We could all live to be 1000 years old and never see a game like this one. [/b]

I guess I should've said we could live to be 1000 and never see ANOTHER game like this one.
I sure hope some of the Iowa Hawkeyes watched this game-maybe they'd learn what playing with HEART is.

There is no joy in Wolverine Land.....once again, the Wolverine Hype Machine embarrasses itself on the big stage. Can't figure it out. I know USC has a bunch of talent albeit young, but this was SUPPOSED to be the best defensive front 7 in the country. And even with the secondary being the weak leak, I was always told that an awesome front 4/7 would be able to make up for that.
"M"'s offensive line was just that, offensive! While they deserve a ton of blame for losing this game, I still put the onus on the defense. If your defense plays stout, you're always in the game as Michigan was in the first half despite their crappy offense. But once Michigan got back within 8 early in the 4th the "D" promptly lets USC go on back to back TD marches.

Just can't happen! What a crappy November/December/Jan.1 for U of M.....Bo passes, Loss to OSU, Prez Ford passes, Loss to USC...and Michigan Hoops still stinks!!
Cudos to the Badgers and Nittany Lions (hope you enjoyed that one Pia) for saving some Big Ten face!
Final analysis....We'll get them next year!!! Yeah right???

sis and i went to a movie (dreamgirls - excellent) in austin during the game (we forgot the game was on and couldnt figure out why the movie theater was so dead)
when we got out, we turned on the radio and found the game. 4th quarter, iowa up 21 -20. we were like hell ya! go iowa go!
SO upset they couldn't pull out the win. But maybe, just maybe, it will teach the t-sips a lesson or two

Don't get your hopes up. The game was broadcast by Fox. Maybe they can replay it on one of their Fox Sportsnet chsnnels.

Broadcast by Fox, but ESPN has a contract to broadcast the NCAA. I'm sure that the contract includes rights to replays of games that they don't actually cover.
