yes i'm glad to see ND now holds that title of most bowl losses (and not us!). We have 2 bowl wins in a row!

OUCH, HELL!
Would you rather be an IOWA HAWKEYES fan?
They start the season with a 5-1 record, then end up 6-6? THE most horrible defense in all of division 1?
And STILL goes to a freaking bowl game, albeit against a team with clear home field advantage AND "referee" advantage.

DOUBLE OUCH!!!

My Noles are picking up some good coaches today. We picked up Rick Trickett as our OL coach from WVU. Lawerence Dawsey as our WR coach (he is a former FSU WR). And not 100% yet, but some radio outlets are reporting that Jimbo Fisher is coming to Tallahassee as well to be the new OC. The bad thing is that we lose our LB coach Kevin Steele, as he will be the new DC at Alabama.

Yeah, well......congrats on the Bulldawg win. Stafford and how he improved the team through the season paralleled Vince Young and the Titans in a way. Tennessee didn't really get beat up and down the field by Penn State at all, it was all about turnovers. We turned the ball over 3 times and they turned it over none. That's the story line. Without even one of the fumbles, we would have at least had a tie game if not the win. Not to take anything away from Penn State, who played their best game of the year, we basically beat ourselves with turnovers and handed them the game. Looking on the bright side, at least we played in a bowl this year. :-?

All I know is that I will never go to another bowl game against them. I have only attended 2 bowl games ever and both were against Penn State, it rained the whole game at both of them, and we lost both of them. :-?

The SEC is now 5-3 in the bowls and really need a big win by Florida. I am definately pulling for the Gators, but don't know if they have enough to beat the impressive Buckeyes. We'll root for them, though.

GO SEC!

GO GATORS!

NOTRE LAME!!!

How 'bout those LSU Tigers! So how strong is the SEC? -pretty strong!

How bad does Notre Lame and fat-boy Weis s***? -pretty bad!

I grew up kinda liking ND for whatever reasons. However, that was in the years of "Rocket" Ishmail when they were good and deserved the respect. In the last few years they've gotten so much media attention and praise that is so undeserved! Hearing fat-boy Weis cry about rankings and listening to Granny Holtz shlur through his ridiculous praises for them each week has only helped develop my hatred for the Irish. We've powdered their @sses for long enough now! Its time to give them the ranking they deserve!

Too bad we didn't play them at the Outback Bowl instead of Penn State! It would have been nice to whip some Irish tail!

It must have really have sucked to have been one of the teams to have lost to them them the last few years, since they were so over rated.

Funny you should say that. While talking to another BN poster, they said that if BN had a football team, you could be our kicker.

Same story for Nebraska. We spotted Auburn 14 points with two costly turnovers that each set up Auburn inside the NU 15 yard line. The Husker defense played more than well enough to win (held the Tigers to 178 yards of offense; aside from the two TDs mentioned above, Auburn was only able to muster another field goal), but the NU offense just couldn't make up the difference.

C'est la vie. The Huskers already have a volleyball national championship this season and baseball is only six weeks away! :D

Rick, are you gonna share your SEC love for your hated rival Florida in the Title game. Personally, just CAN'T and WON'T pull for our hated rivals the Buckeyes to win!
oh I don't hate Florida (even though the Dawgs can't seem to beat them) near as bad as I hate Tennessee. So if I can pull for Tennessee I sure as hell can pull for Florida to bring the National Title home to the SEC.
I agree! There are lots of rivalries in the SEC. I don't subscribe to the "I love the Gators and anyone who beats ________" line of thought. I pulled for Tennessee in the Outback...I had tickets but was busy having my hand crushed by MID during her labor. Eric (her son) and my brother went and said it was a great game. Thats what you hope for in a bowl game.

Now then.....

Go Gators!
