A banana a day...
A friend passed this info on to me, so I'm sharing it with you!
I've always just found them to be a tasty source of potassium, but they're so much more!

Very interesting! I'm throwing away nearly a whole bunch today that my family didn't eat.
It says that bananas balance the acid in the body: "Potassium also prevents the blood's Ph from becoming too acidic." I wonder why I get nasty mouth ulcers if I eat more than one banana or banana muffin a day.
Maybe I need to have more acid in my blood! Or, it could be the natural sugar in bananas, since I am pre-diabetic.
I'd eat more if I could!

Oooooo....Bananas Foster...my favorite non-chocolate dessert!!
If you have bananas that are about to go bad (getting overripe) toss them in the freezer. Then when you're ready to cook, defrosted they're perfect for banana bread!

Yes freeze these. They're great for baking but also great for smoothies, better then unfrozen bananas. We have a local place that makes these things called banana whips. It's frozen bananas put thru a high powered blender/juicer thing. It tastes like custard but good for you.Very interesting! I'm throwing away nearly a whole bunch today that my family didn't eat.
About the bake off, you don't want me baking in it. I guess that only leaves me with one possible role then.

Navy Seals are Cooler then Pirates

You Can Dream Anyway, There's always next year!!!
