The song is a dedication to the destruction of the Flora-Bama Lounge, a popular club in Gulf Shores, Al., Farve said. The club suffered heavy damage as a result of Hurricane Ivan in 2004. A song played out-loud during the video shoot described how a bar called the "Bama Breeze" meant so much to the patrons who frequented it. The song describes Rolling Stones lead singer Mick Jagger stopping in the bar in 1984 and writing his name on the wall of the ladies' bathroom. The chorus of the song being played said, "at the Bama Breeze you are one of us down there, you never drink alone down there, good God, I really feel at home down there."
In one scene, Buffett sits alone amid the wreckage inside the bar playing his guitar. Another scene depicts a track-hoe knocking down the building, and another shows Buffett and the extras raising their beers and shouting loudly as they give a toast to the "Bama Breeze."

I thought the tune was called "'Bama Breeze". Strange that he waited so long to do a tune about the Flora-Bama and then shoot the video in Bay St Louis seeing that Bay St Louis had almost a 40 foot storm surge (Waveland did) and suffered complete destruction beyond anything in Gulf Shores.

It is called "Bama Breeze" from all that's been said here...
And it couldn't exactly be filmed at the FloraBama, since it's been in the
process of reconstruction and wouldn't be available. I imagine the song
was in the works before Katrina, anyway. Maybe a Katrina song will be
on a future album. At least Bay St. Louis is getting a little publicity and a
boost from the video being shot there. I assure you, the Buffett family is
not turning it's collective back on the Katrina-damaged section of the
gulf coast. I saw that first hand at Lulu's.
