It's better known as the "Roy Williams Rule." Basically the NFL says too many injuries happen because the player being tackled usually falls on one/both of their legs. It's still a pretty shady rule though... :-? :-?

Isn't that how Terrell Owens got tackled when he broke his leg 2 years ago?

OK Joey Porter guarantees a victory for my Stinky Steelers today at home against New Orleans, we know what that means. They'll be 2-7 after this game  And of course my wife, who grew up in New Orleans, wants the Saints to win just to shut Porters mouth. In some strange way, I kinda hope that happens

I wonder if we could also get a last minute victory against the Eagles too.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

San Diego getting smoked by Cincy early. 21-0 in the 2nd. quarter. Didn't think that would be happening.

Too bad they won't be wearing the Powderpuff Blue uni's when Denver beats them this week....

(I would have said 'steamroll' instead of 'beats', but Denver just can't seem to put teams away...)

Marty-ball is 4-13 in Denver, with all the teams he's been with...

The two long TD runs by Willie Parker killed us yesterday! :x :pirate:

Neither of the long runs were for TD's but did set up short TD runs by Parker. They were lucky, the Steeler D couldn't cover Colston at all yesterday, thats why I picked him up as much as possible in my various fantasy football leagues.

Yeah, come to think of it, yer right. What might have been, if Copper hadn't fumbled the ball there. Brees had us within striking distance. Well, back to the drawing board or should I say War Room. :pirate:

After four years of this injury "cancer" crap, you'd think the Giants might get a new strength and conditioning coach. The Giants could easily be one of the best teams in teh league with all the playmakers they have on both sides of the ball, but they can't stay healthy.

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

The thing that bothers me more than the injuries is all the penalties the Giants get. Coughlin has a reputation of being a disciplinarian and a lot of the penalties they get are undisciplined things. Unsportsmanlike conduct, late hits, stuff like that. Disciplined teams don't get those penalties.
