I have run into Jack Hanna from the Columbus Zoo.

Ran into Norman "Boomer" Esiason in a Taco Bell at a aiport.

I have been on more than one flight with Greg "the Hammer" Valentine. A popular wrestler from the 80's and 90's.

I have a very good friend who is a flight attendant. She has met a lot of people. She says that Reba McIntire (sp?) is probably the most unpleasant person she has ever met. Said she has flew with her more than once and she is a nasty human being.

My dad used to know Kevin Matthews... he was a friend of a friend, and he even tailgated with us at a NASCAR race one year.

Remember the commercial where the guy is in a diner, and he gets a sandwich, looks at it, and then says "I didn't want Mayo," and so the waitress takes the piece of bread from the sandwich and wipes the mayo onto the side of the table?
I was at the same table as that guy at a wedding on Saturday

I do know quite a few fishing personalities, too... and have received quite a few in-person autographs from many NASCAR drivers. Kurt Busch and Ricky Craven have been the coolest. Kyle Petty was really nice, too. Robby Gordon is a jerk.

I was on a flight last year from LaGuardia to Tampa with Hulk Hogan....

I was annoyed cause I realized that if my plane crashed the news would be all about him and no one would even care that I was dead...

Figures.. That's either the day before I leave for San Antonio for a week, or the day I get back... Either way I don't think the military is gonna route me through Tampa...

On my flight back after the '04 Dallas concert, I ran into Charleston. He was on my flight.....He wound up sitting a couple rows in front of me.

I debated on whether or not I should ask for a picture.....I eventually broke down and he was very nice and agreed. :)

Now he is a HUGE dude!!!! :o

In 96 I was at FTL and missed my flight - with 1 baby and a toddler.... yes - I was thrilled to have to wait 2 hours by myself with them ... ran down to the bathroom and there was Don Shula getting his shoes shined... I had no pride or common courtesy at this point as my kids were in the witching hour.... so I asked very politely if he could sign Emily's Pooh photo album.... He signed it and never said a word. I kicked myself later bc I said I would never do that to a celebrity.

I also (after seeing Jimmy play afew at the West Palm airport) - had to pick a friend up at the airport and as I waited I realized the guy sitting next to me was J.R. - the guy who was tuning Jimmy's guitar and worked at Margaritaville Key West .... we chat for a little - very cool guy. Hope he still works for Jimmy.

I never actually saw anyone on the plane though....

I had two Reba concerts in ballparks and found her to be one of the most delightful, engageing celebrities (Great Ta-ta's too)I have ever met. I got a thank you card both times for our hospitality and even got Christmas cards from her for about two or three years after the last show.

Now Lee Greenwood, was an a$$bag

I worked 5 years in the Salt Lake City airport and I saw numerous people who thought they were stars and a number of who actually were. This included local celebs such as Robert Redford, the Osmond clan, the Hemingway girls, Mr & Mrs. Van Halen (they were married then), Wilford Brimley, Hal Lindon, all of the NBA teams, Steve Young (yawn) and assorted other folks who have their condos at Deer Valley and Park City. Then there were the musicans which included Carlos Santana, Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, John McEwan, Robert Plant, Waylon Jennings, Poison, Night Ranger, the Beach Boys, Davey Jones, Cindy Lauper, Billy Gibbons, Ted Nuggent, Tommy Shaw, Los Lobos, MC Hammer, Prince (he was Prince then), Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, Kenny Loggins, Billy Joel, Elton John, Mark Knopfler and a host of others. Then you had the wrestlers and all the celebs that would come out for the Sundance Film Festival. And there was this one guy who passed through a few years ago, Michael Utley.
