Now they're kinda small...but the tailgate is worth any seat in the house.

5 years ago the lawn was a lot larger then what it is now and if u got there early u could get a good spot.nowadays the lawn section is alot smaller because they added seats to the former lawn section and the view to the stage is really limited.Great Woods is still the best!!!

Not that bad very crowded, and a lot of puking, passed out units, stumbling drunks, very easy to get lost as very dark, but very fun You will be watching the show on the screens, unless you have binocular vision, and the sound not that loud, but an experience
When I was a kid....
there was a lawn, actual grass, just past the pavillion walkway. A sellout meant you still had room to spread your blanket, with room to walk between the blanket next to You could take a leak in the trees on the side, men and women, and there was open space 20 feet out from both sides There was even a way to get into the show beside the bathroom on the left, as there was a hole in the fence.

I used to LOVE the lawn seats--actually preferred them to pavillion seats because in my opinion the real party (well 2nd party--can't beat the parking lot) was on the lawn-- Dancing, drinking, fornicating (not me personally but one does see amazing things on the lawn!)
Now that I've "put 40 astern" though, I prefer the pavillion. Less crazy, I can enjoy the music more, and if I want to (which I usually do) you can visit the lawn and then come back to your seat.
