I'd like to hear that one, too. I have Nanci Griffith's album where she and Mac sing Gulf Coast Highway as a duet.conched wrote:One more song I'd like to hear Jimmy and Mac and the Reeferettes do together is Gulf Coast Highway. There's certainly a theme going with the NEW album and this song seems to fit in well.
Nothing But A Breeze.

It sure would be nice to have the present Coral Reefers show us what they can do with THAT song. I know Jimmy likes to take some songs and dust them off and give them new life and this seems like a good one to do.

What a great idea!!!! Mr Buffett did such a gorgeous duet of this number with Nancy Griffith, its hard for me to think of it except that wayconched wrote: One more song I'd like to hear Jimmy and Mac and the Reeferettes do together is Gulf Coast Highway. ...which reminds me, for some reason, RM never seems to play this one when i request it...wonder why?

I thought Buffett do it with Evangeline, not Nanci Griffith.1 CP wrote:What a great idea!!!! seems like his albums since I've been a fan have titles that change.
License to Chill was first called "Truth is Stranger than Fishin", then "Conchy Tonkin".
Far Side Of The World was "Altered Boy". Meet Me In Margaritaville was "Buffett Buffet"
I'm sure this one will change too.
