only been to one, in Asheville, NC., and it didn't quite compare to the Margaritavilles I've been in. The food was good, the drinks were fruityful, but just not the same atmosphere. Then again, I guess Jimmy wouldn't really want CBIP to be competition.

We just went to the one in Asheville in late July. It was our first visit to a CIP. The food was really good, but you are right, the atmosphere was lacking. It was not what I was expecting. I told our waiter we were celebrating our anniversary and he was like, "oh". I thought he might bring us a little dessert...oh well...he did tell me that their coasters were collectors items and that they had seen them selling on ebay. I left with the 4 from our table!

I noticed that the weatherman there changed what he says about the hurricane...he use to say how dangerous it was and to seek shelter. Now he says how this is NOT a real hurricane and does not impose any threat or real danger. Was it changed after hurricane Rita? (I think it was Rita?)

I haven't payed much attention to it lately, if it was changed it would have been this summer. Not sure the actual reason but we can only imagine. Still the same ol' Jim Cantore last I saw.

believe it was both Katrina and Rita last summer that got the spiel changed.
