I came across a little jewel of a piece while listening to a live recording from 8-22-92 from George, WA.
Jimmy talks about some of the more cultered parrtoheads, who like classical music.
Its a audience recording. From what I can understand from the audience talking, he exits the stage for a brief time and he comes out in a suit jacket.
Here are the words from what I can understand... Oh it is classical piece of music... strings, high voices... quite fun actually.
Summer in America
parrotheads are here,
frolicking and reveling,
sipping on the beer.
Running up and down the George
doing all these things
sneaking to the bushes to
enjoy the right to spring.
Reeferettes: Keep it full, keep it full we can always keep it full.????
Reefers: We can screw, we can screw, we have the right to screw.???
Summer in America,
look at all your kids
doing all the nasty things,
that you parents did.
Frolicking and reveling,
and partying,
listen to the Reeferettes,
They'll teach you the right things.
Reeferettes: Who needs devotion? I've got the motion? Who brought the Trojan? (glass breaking as a high note is hit)
Reeferettes and Reefers : We can screw, we can screw, we can screw, we can screw.
We......can....... we can screw.
This was at about time 1:05:26 if you have the recording. I didnt see it on the song list. I thing Jimmy called it. "A Summer Song"
A funny little song snuck into 92 concert at the George
