Especially during the years they were the Pirates affiliate.
Each of those years, the Islanders would finish first or second in their division, while the Pirates were finishing dead last.

If it is that good why are they building a new one?

I live in NY but love Wrigley Field. When I went there I felt like I stepped back in time (and I liked it)

The new Yankme Stadium looks just like the current one from the exterior. I wish they would incorporate the facade into the new one

I remember when the old one was the new one because the old one was old. Phew my head hurts

[quote="txaggirl91"]there was nothing like watching a ballgame in the astrodome in the late 70s, early 80s before the rennovated it. quote]
I know what you mean. I went there and was amazed at a domed stadium. I loved the board and watching the "fireworks" when a home run was hit. Also the graphics when the opposing pitcher was sent away from the game. Used to love going next door to Astroland. Good memories. Thanks for reminding me!

I saw no Oakland fans..
I think of the Ball parks I have seen that Oakland is underrated.
the place is clean, the food is good, good tailgating,
but the dugouts are backward.
there is both a good size parking lot and a
public transit system and the temps rarely top 80.
really what more can we ask??

you can't top Yankee Stadium for richness of history, drama. It's got a giant bat outside the entrance for goodness sakes.

Comerica Park photos are on that site!
Still don't like the stadium, though.

Turner Field for 3 reasons
1- Braves rules
(just not this year)
2- They are only 2 hours away
3- It's the only field I have EVER been to

I've only been to Tiger Stadium, Co Merica Park, Jacobs Field and Marchant stadium (Tigers Winter Home in Lakeland Florida)
Loved them all! No such thing as a bad baseball stadium
