How often do you get massages?

Post by Tiki Bar »

In honor of Candy's new job, I thought I'd start this thread!

I get massage therapy twice a week... normally with Buffett tunes playing softly overhead... aaaaahhh!

But to me, a bad massage is like bad sex... sure, you should just be happy to be getting it, but it isn't the least bit fulfilling.

To borrow a phrase from Candy... some massage therapists have "radar in their fingertips", which is truly an amazing experience. But sadly, for me, such isn't the case for all of them... :-? :sigh:

Candy... teach 'em right!! :D :D

A friend/co-worker lives about a mile from me. And has a fabulous room set up in her home. I try and get there about 2-3 times a year. Right now I'm getting a little bit twice a week cause of PT. :) OUCH but it's a GOOD ouch! :D

That is so true!! I wish I could go every month...but $$$$ :-?

Hubby usually gets me a gift certificate for Xmas, and most years I can find the extra bucks for a second one sometime.

I have a standing appointment every Wednesday at 6pm. And the best part is my insurance picks up the tab! :D

What's a massage?
When they run you out of town make it look like you are leading the parade.

The price of the massage itself isn't that bad, it's the extra fee for the happy ending that can kill you :o
Ive had a massage once when we stayed at a fancy resort and spa. It was great, but not my thing. The wife LOVES them though, mostly on vacations.
