From what I remember, this is the one show where the cheap seats sell out first.

Thanks

I'm with Beach Bob here.....

I know there are 3 levels of pricing..

Prices will be $210, $105, $68.25, plus additional fees

BUT my question is.....HOW bad are the cheap seats? Are the completely and utterly horrible?

Please advise!
The cheap seats are not horrible....they are just at the back of the arena. There are no luxury boxes to jack up the seating to the rafters and the venue only holds about 15,000 for a Buffett show so they are comparable to midlevel seats at some venues.

However, there are probably no more than 400-500 seats (if that) priced at $68.25. They are usually the first ones to sell out and will likely be gone within 10-15 minutes.

Half the arena (everything on the floor and most of the lower bowl) will be $210 and you'll find some of these seats available throughout September and possibly into October. This show takes longer than any other in the country to sell out....but it will reach that point eventually.

Good luck to everyone getting tickets and feel free to ask if you have any further questions.

Yes, panic, and throw your arms up in the air, and run around screaming "Oh my god!!!"
Gee, thanks.
Hang in there murPH, TM is noted for not being very timely. There was a Tom Petty show earlier this year that didn't show up on TM until 30 minutes before tickets went onsale. Needless to say there was a few panic stricken Petty fans that day.

Keep checking TM, they will have the shows up there on their web site soon enough. The only panic you will probably have is when you see what the ticket prices are listed at.

Thanks, Bill, for the info! :D When Ticketmaster is involved, I lose all faith!

I went to the entertainment section of mgm web site and looked up the floor plan for Mary J Blige. I copied the url for that floorplan but substituted "jimmybuffett" in place of "maryjblige" and up it popped. Looks about right.

That may still exist from last year.....but its been the same for the last 5 or 6 shows....so I definitely wouldn't anticipate it being any better (although it could be worse).

I've had seats in the very top row at the opposite end of the arena from the stage and frankly, they weren't too bad. It's not a giant arena so have an unblocked view of the stage and you don't have to worry about the guy behind you spilling his beer down your back. Now I will gladly trade you the back row seats for something in the risers one section out from the stage.

I don't think that any of the seats are truly bad seats unless you are on the floor back by the lighting and sound boards. It can be tough to see anything from there.

We are going to Vegas to see JB. As we are travelling from Scotland, Can anyone tell me if the tickets are mailed out immediately, or only a few weeks before the concert. Don't want to arrive in Vegas with no tickets. Can they be picked up on the night at the MGM? Staying at the Aladdin for 14 days, Can't wait

I think for international tickets, will call is always an option. That may be your best bet. Tickets are mailed out when they're printed and ticketmaster only guarantees that you'll receive them within 2 days of an event.

I have always paid for the express mail... for international I would double check. CALL TicketMaster prior to the tickets going on sale and see what they say.

It is next to The Hooters Hotel and Casino which also is reported to be having a pre- and post conncert gathering.

Cool I'll check that out. But you do realize stumblin' distance in Vegas can be from ½ mile to a mile...that is there block. Especially since MGM encompasses that block running along Tropican Blvd. Just FYI

No matter. Provided I am facing in the right direction I will hit something nearby.

BTW - the hotel is America's Best Value Inn. Their online photo of the pool shows the MGM towers in the background . . . it appears to be a block or 2.

I know which hotel you are talking about.. still doable to walk. But it is a long one. People forget how big the buildings are there...you know like the mirror (and a few men I know), things may appear closer than they really are.

My wife says its a good size . . . of a walk but doable as well. I'll be near a casino and a bar I am fine. No need to wander much further than that.

I am going to miss Last Man Standing can anyone tell me more about the Pre-parties and and Post parties for the show.
