why????

Post by trentonleonard »

why does radio margaritaville cut new songs before they are released on the live shows. i would think that jimmy would want it the true fans listening to hear it as well as the people at the show.

I bet it was Jimmy doing the cutting..... because while it would be nice for fans to hear it... the bootleggers out there would capitalize on it....

think of it this way: he's played 5-6 new songs on this tour that are probably all on the album. If he plays a few more, prior to album release in mid-October; where is the benefit in releasing the album given everyone's access to RM and the chance to tape/record the new music for free.

i've got every cd live and studio, numerous bootlegs and would still buy every cd he puts out.

I don't show up JUST to hear SYKBH (Songs Jimmy Plays To Death)...I show up hoping to hear ONE song I haven't heard live before. I won't set my expectations any higher than that.

I am so jaded by the SYKBH set lists....uggghhhh. I would love a SYKBH free show. Someone loan me $250k?

Yeah, I know...I don't have to go (more tickets for you) and right now I am totally undecided and un-excited about the West Coast tour. :-?

Maybe the rest of us are false fans. Maybe we only have SYKBH, which we bought at Tower Records on sale for $10.99 when instead you can find boat loads of copies in almost any and every used record store across the country for as low as, I think I've seen, $4! Obviously a lot of people have bought it and a lot have tossed it.

And maybe we only bought LTC because Kenny Cheesy is on it or Toby 'Ford Man' Keith is on it.

Ohhhh I just don't know what that song is, and that song, and that song, and that song, why is he playing songs I've never heard before? That ringling song and something about someone in Miami and the one about some town in Mexico when he speaks Spanish or Mexican and some piano player in FLA isn't on SYKBH. They must not be very good.
