-whitewater rafted on the kennebec and penobscot Rivers in maine.
-remained friends with my former husband because we made a freat keet together.(he lives in victoria, bc on the other side of Canada, which keeps things friendly.)
-been a mentor for youth and a teacher for 30 great years
-written for educational publications and textbooks
-met my true love at age 47.
-seen the seasons change 53 times.
-loved Shakespeare since the moment i was introduced to it

I have

played in the ocean on both coasts
watched a baseball game in Candlestick
gotten a batter to strike out a minor league game
seen some pretty cool concerts with my big brother
stayed up 24 hours to play nurse to one of the keets while in the hospital
watch a keet in their Christmas play
wake up to see my brother standing over me and hear the words "if you want breakfast, get up and help me cook it!!"

I just thought of a couple more-

I've been to the Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor (AT LEAST a ga-zillion times).
AND
I stood on "Ground Zero" in Nagasaki, Japan. (Twice).

I was where the war started AND where it ended.
I've never been to Hiroshima, however-other than just stopping there on the train, but never got to go around the city itself.

I worked in a rolling skating rink.

I have probably counted a million dollars cash in my lifetime, from working in banks/Savings&Loans/Credit Unions for close to 15 years.

And I've played BN Feud many times. :D

It is interesting to see what others have experienced.

Modes of travel I have been on: Horse, car-motorcycle-truck-bus, bike, train, Segway, Elephant, Airplane (double decker to turbine 12 seater) and helicopter.

Been to the Republic of Kirabati, Hawaii, Germany, lost in France, Luxemburg, Austria and Arusha - East Africa (2 national parks). Mx & Can.

On African Photo Safari.

Been to the 1996 Summer Olympics. Had tickets to the following winter games - couldn't go :(

Was courier with a friend (who at the time work for the Pen's), Mario Lemieux's trophies from Toronto after the second Stanley Cup win.

Touched the Pacific and Atlantic waters (not at the same time - though you could) and the Gulf of Mexico.

Been to all the monuments in DC, seen the Liberty Bell, been to Miss Liberty, on top of Sears Tower and Empire State Building, also the do-hickey in San Antonio.

Sailed (assisted) a boat in the Chesapeake; then slept peacfully on the boat that night.

Was part of "Hands Across America" (not sure how proud I should be on that one).

Helped with minor surgery ('tear' repair) on my horse.

Been shot at while on horse back...(not by choice and was an accident).

Had hip surgery before hitting the 4-0 (no replacement).

I'm sure there are more things...Just waiting to clear that list of things to do before I die...so that I may be able to write a new one!
