Some of my Mom's worst memories were having to pick me up early after getting thrown out of CCD!!! That's what happens when you force religion on a kid.

I've never had a detention, which is good because then I would have missed Family Feud and not been prepared for BN Feud!

Yes, I did. I stole the pass pad from the nurse and forged her signature and handed out passes to all my friends so they could cut class and show a pass that they were in the nurse's office. I then started selling them for a buck a piece to kids that weren't my friends and that's when I got busted! I felt terrible because I was very close to the school nurse and she felt so betrayed by me. It was a good life lesson but one I wished I didn't have to learn.

Nope, never did. I knew what teachers I get away with some stuff with, and the ones I knew would throw my a$$ in detention, I just went to class (on time), kept my mouth shut and talked afterwards.

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

I'm scared to go to my reunion as I most likely still owe some. And we had Saturday detention instead of afterschool so that REALLY sucked...

Ain't LIFE grand. Love how you worked that BN Feud right in there.

I held detention so many times in my life. For one year I had the On Campus Suspension class for first period. Talk about a perfect way to start the day.

Only had detention once. They made me sit in the bleachers and watch my volleyball team practice.

I deserved it a lot more than that, I'm sure!!

Me? Serve detention? I think.......... so
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

Wow, I am impressed

I missed so much school that it was a rare day that I did not
have to visit the VP's office. I didn't actually get many
detentions, when I did, I usually spent that quality time
preparing my mind for BN feud

Ooh, I just thought of another one...

I was on the Knowledge Bowl team in high school (yes, I'm a geek, thank you very much :P ), and we ended up on a local PBS television show called Matchwits. It's like a head-to-head competition with trivia questions, etc., for high school teams (which we ended up winning).

Anyway, we listed one of our alternate team members as Ron Jeremy, and they announced it on the air. We just about got kicked out of school for that one, once the principal figured out who that was..... Still didn't get detention though... :pirate:

I used to write my own hall passes :D so I could ditch study hall and go to the cool places like "Dairy Queen". Never thought about selling them - that is a good (revenue generating!!) idea! I also used to go into teacher's lounge to get soda (in the days when the only soda machine was in the teachers lounge). Got caught at least once  and said I was getting soda for another teacher. Yeah, right.

Ahh, Forty two years since my last confession
Well Father, do you have the rest of the week?
Lets get started then

I wrote my own hall passes
I bought soda from the teacher's lounge
