It's called "Paddlin' Out," and it'll be released October 10th.

I like it. A surfing reference. Maybe there's a Beach Boys cover. :D

here's hoping. The "Paddling Out" title gives as much in the way of questions as the "Party at the End of the World" supposedly did.

"Here We Are" is nice, succinct, and answers more questions than it poses.

Remember when he was calling what would eventually become LTChill, before the Conchy Tonk sessions, Man Overboard?

That would make a great LP title. And remember that magazine that came out in 1998 where he's flyfishing on the Dancer? The editor or journalist mentioned another song that Jimmy said he was working on, I think it was called Sell It All. Someone pulling someone's leg?

It's too bad A Salty Piece Of Land didn't make LTChill.

Whatever happened to the leftovers from BHOTMoon - Plutonium And Beer and a couple others?

Album Name

Post by Weicht »

According to Barnes And Noble, The official name of the album is Paddlin Out, but I really don't care what they call it I am just glad that he is doing an album with new stuff on it. All this rerealesing of his old material is fine but we all like to listen to new stuff now and then right? By the way we used to see Jimmy and the band at the Post-Gazette Pavilion in Pittsburgh. But my friends that lived there have now moved to Greenville, SC. Any hints on the place he usually plays in the summer that is closest to Greenville?

I don't know if Jimmy's sister has any inside information, but her restaurant's email newletter says the new record will be called "Paddlin' Out", and she has a cameo in the "Bama Breeze" video. She plays the bar owner. CMT Insider has an interview with Jimmy scheduled to air Saturday at 1:30 ET. 8)

Maybe CMT just used that title.

They also have Paddlin Out listed for Buffett albums on CMT.

If you google both names, Paddlin' Out comes up at Best Buy, Billboard, Barnes & Noble, VH1, CMT, AOL... as JB's new CD... but "Take The Weather With You" doesn't.
Some people never find it, some only pretend
But me, I just want to live happily ever after every now and then.
