I guess it just struck me as a bit on the pessimistic side, that's all. :)

LOL, well, in my opinion I think Paddlin Out was chosen in reference to the songs about hurricane's on the album and the recent history of them. I refuse to think Jimmy is "Paddlin Out" (if ya know what I mean) :D

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised to see "Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band, 2006" as the title... :P

I wouldn't even bet my lunch money on it!
This is too, too funny...
Now the title is listed as "Paddlin Out" on the B&N page.
(M'thinks Mr. Buffett is toying with us!)
Damfino...that may be the first time I've ever guessed something like this right. :)

*Still* not sure I believe it's the final one though.

SPEW!!!!!!!!

I was looking for something completely unrelated and came across this post in a newsgroup. It's about the 1993 show at Mountain View...
Yes, there were songs from the new album, which he said would be recorded in October.
Title is "Quietly Making Noise". He played that song and one called "Everyone has a
cousin in Miami." Liked that one a lot. Great story about the genesis of it too.
Even when Jimmy announces the name of a new album from the stage, he reserves the right to change it.

"Quietly Making Noise" was, of course, ultimately "Fruitcakes".... [smilie=giggle.gif]

I'm thinking just "Prince" for a title...

Did anyone notice it only has seven song on it?
What if the hokey pokey is really what it's all about?
