How do girls learn....?

Post by OPHarbor »

On the subject of guy/girls learning stuff.......

Is it just Mrs harbor or..... why does she put a piece of bread in the MW and turn it on for one minute? She says shes going to turn it off, but almost always forgets, then when the dinger goes off, well, you know! wouldn't it be easier to hit 10 seconds and be done with it! It is, after all, one less button to push!

And another "timer" issue, why, oh why does she insist on turning the dryer to one hour (again, I'm going to turn it off), thus rendering her (and my) clothes the size my grandkeets can now wear?

Girl phenomenon, wife phenomenon, or am I just too logical???

Why would you put bread in the microwave?

i've been a girl my whole life and i've only done those things a handful of times, on accident.

i think the real issue here is why hubbys sprain their ankles and can hobble over to the neighbors to drink and watch football, but the sprained ankle hurts too bad to help put away groceries. [smilie=sadtard.gif]

(heee heee that smilies name is "sad tard" heee heeeeeeeeeee)

Not just bread (to soften), anything, to melt a little butter, re-warm something...anything, just overnukes the crap out of everything!

Hmm... my wife has the exact opposite problem. She'll put stuff in the microwave, and put it for, say, a minute, when it really needs 2. She'll stand by the microwave, wait for it to go off, then put it for another minute...

Ok, it's not just a woman thing! My husband is famous for doing things and walking away...saying he is going to remember "this time" to turn it off. Like adding water to the pool or the hot tub...when it starts to overflow...he remembers. How about the 2 times he he was filling the water bed...you ever wonder how overfilled those things can get before they explode??? Like turing on the grill and leaving it on over night? Each and everytime, I offer that maybe he should set a timer...and each and everytime he says.."don't worry, I will remember" :-?

That's how long it's been since the last time I saw Fast Times. It would work better with a banana.

Carrots are sturdier and won't break off while you're practicing.

Fast Times is the first movie I ever saw with boobies in it.

I can't hear Jackson Brown's "Somebody's Baby" and not think of that movie. Or Kashmir by Led Zepplin.
