My guesses are:

The Wino and I Know
Cowboy in the Jungle
Growing Older but not Up
I think Kid Rock and Boobilah also have a home near Bocephus's outside of Paris, TN...where jimolliemom lives.

If he's going to do anything special in Detroit I hope he would have the good sense to get one of the great old Motown stars, any of them, instead of a hack like Kid Rock.

Bingo. I can't imagine Jimmy scraping that low... (and honestly, if Kid Rock were to play with Jimmy after JBs Camden dedication...which I found hilarious...then the guy's more stupid than I thought...which is hard to fathom).

The Funk Bros. would be a great background for "Dancin' in the Streets"

doesn't something need to be recognizable for it to be a classic?

1939 McDonnell-Douglas DC-3 .. Classic

It's a hip hop classic!! From his critically acclaimed and now hard to find album The Polyfuze Method (1990).
I'll admit though, it did not make his anthology cd, The History Of Rock.

I'll admit I bought his first album "Grits Sandwiches For Breakfast" in 89.
Not that good an album but a start. I'm glad he branched out into other musical styles. Hell, can play nearly every instrument that you put in front of him. Never seen him in concert though but would if I could.

For the pain, agony, suffering, and poor taste -- exhibited by JB and Charleston -- to let such a thing happen.

Sorry, just not my cup of tea.

On the other hand, JB did inflict pain on everyone's eardrums last year when he did that horrid Dave Mathews song Trippin' Billies. And again when he brought Dave out on stage at the Hurricane Katrina benefit show in MSG to sing Heart Of Gold. :o

Relatively speaking, that was mere discomfort....

I'd been thinking about going to Detroit...but the thought of this thread topic becoming a reality has me thinking I'd be better off a long ways from there....
