I noticed on amazon.com that Paddlin Out shows as an RCA label. Are they connected with Mailboat?

RCA will distribute what Mailboat produces. Like Disney and Pixar.

I assumed that Mailboat was distributing the new stuff.

Mailboat sometimes calls in the big guns for CDs of new material because RCA has has the ability to get Buffett on the radio and on TV (he will be on two CMT shows this weeknd). So the live CDs are Mailboat only but the new CD and License are distributed by RCA.
Prince is another independant artist (NPG Records) who negotiates to have major labels distribute his albums on a per album basis.
