I had been searching thru petfinder.com which is really a great resource for finding not only pets but rescue groups and shelters in your area.
I found some polydachtol kittens through a rescue group on petfinder that I was interested in but alas they had been taken. For years now I've been wanting a polydachtol but I had decided that there were so many homeless kittens that need a home so I'd just go to the King County Shelter and get a cat there. We printed the online application and filled it out. On the way we stopped at KMart and picked up some kitten essentials. Then we went to Caveman Barbeque. When we got to the shelter and went into the cat room there was quite an assortment of cats. I made a quick glance thru and every kitten that caught my eye was a male. I have a bad history with male cats and don't want a male. On my second pass thru to take a closer look into the cages this paw reaches out to me. I stick my finger up and it grabs my fingers and then
Later we leave the shelter with our kitty in a cardboard cat carrier. Introductions are in order at home. Bailey - our dog was excited when we got home but whatever was in the box intrigued her more. When I brought the kitty out all hell broke loose!!
