OK so my Dad bought a "new" trailer
for camping. it has a Microwave in it.
I asked Dad. "does it work?"
Dads answer "Well the guy turned it on for a few seconds
the light lit and the bell dinged.
for a test. I was thinking of taking a bag of
microwave popcorn and seeing how long it takes
to pop..
any other ideas?

Put a cup of water in a glass.....see how long it takes it to boil. That will let you know if it works and how strong it is....

An egg

a friend of mine was just talking about the micro in her trailer. We had alot of storm power outages and she has a generator for her trailer so they stayed in it for the night. She said popcorn takes much longer in that microwave.

I put a fork in a cup of water stuck a Potato on top and wrapped it in a bag of popcorn..
