Hey gang-don't know if this has been bentioned yet but i heard Jerry Jeff Walker is playing BB Kings House of Blues NY in November

Why doesn't he ever play NY with a band??? Last time I remember seeing him with a band in NY was at the old Lone Star Roadhouse a 1000 years ago.

Hey I love JJW. Seen him twice at the Bowery Ballroom, once at Stephen's Talkhouse and three times at BBKings. Once he brought Django and last time Todd Snider was there. Seems to be the NYC audience unnerves JJW a bit and without the band there it could be Slim Pickens. I may yet go out of respect & admiration but I haven't got my tickets yet. Just too many tunes of his I like that he don't do solo and too many tunes he's playing too much, similar to JB's SYKBH list.
Remember this JJW don't take requests unless you are a fine looking lady .

Those Bowery Ballroom shows with the band were rockin'. I liked that venue better than BB King's. Robert Earl Keen's playing NYC on 11/17.
