Interesting Ads From Google On BN
so is any one else getting an ad at the bottom of BN for K&N air filters?
granted my M3's breathe excusively thru them, but i've never googled them, and they're not a regular topic at BN, so is google telepathic?

I don't think so in this case, because I saw them, too, and I didn't even know what they were....sunseeker wrote:could they be generated by cookies on your computer???
However, the Amazon ads above definitely do tap into your cookies or google searches. I was doing some Civil War research last week, and all of a sudden Civil War book started popping up in the Amazon ads...

the ads are based off the page's content at the last time of crawl by the AdSense spider. Sometime odd adds appear because the advertisers are buying that keyword or a keyword phrase through "broad match" - this is what triggers the ads.
Some ads are also PSA (Public Service Announcement) and BN will not get paid for any clicks on those.
