You think so? Heck you should see how it looked to me. I lived there for a year in 1961 (ouch it hurt to type that). East Palomar St ended at the desert and the Palomar St school. Desert across the street too. ( I lived at 30 E. Palomar) Now there isn't a desert but a million houses.

Stay Classy San Diego !!!
It's show day!
We are all packed up in the bus, and about to leave the State Beach in Coronado.
We should be at Coors by noon and 1 PM, gates permitting.
For those not in SD, it is a glorious, sunny hot day fueled by the Santa Ana winds. It is already hot, and should hit the 80's. We are going to work on the tan!
For our old friends we have not seen since last year or Irvine, stop by the bus! Brown/black rig with FINS BUS plates and a silver coupe parked next to it with PIRET40 plates.
FINS UP !!

YESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!
It is show time TO-NIGHT!!!
now, if I could only get out of my office sooner today
I think I can get away by 2:30
Be sure to listen close on RM, too!
A girlfriend won a radio contest yesterday that got her FRONT ROW!
If she can get Jimmy to acknowledge her
she could also be in line for some kind of big prize!!
Come on, clock....spin... spin...

Chula Vista concert was Stellar! My first one in SD & the first one where I decided to go solo! I've taken my kids, their friends, parents & friends for the last 20 years! Thanks to Bob Aye!
Met a couple wonderful characters in the parking lot! Paul & Todd, thanks for including me in your pre-concert festivities. I really enjoyed it! Todd, be successful over there and come home safely.
Best time I've had at a Buffett concert to be sure! Jimmy's song list was awesome, with almost half of his new CD covered! Previous concerts in Irvine & various OC venues had people sitting down when he played a new song or two. Not this time! Everyone was up and dancing the night away!
I would like to find out who my dance partner was on the far right side of the first section (102?) He was on the end right under the right screen, tall, distinguished and a bit shy but we sang and danced together and he disappeared when the show was over. His buddy was sitting right behind him on the end of the 5th or 6th row and we all hugged and sang, taking full responsibility for our fun attitudes and then poof they were gone!
Anyway, it was the best concert I have been to and thank everyone involved for making it so! Especially Jimmy for having the energy to continue intertaining us so enthusiastically! I don't know how he did another concert 2 days later in Vegas but thanks to RM for playing them so we can hear them all! And the band! WOW! Primo ensemble.
Time to Sing, Time to Dance! Maybe nows my second chance!
