Best advice is to keep having fun, while teaching them. The older they get the more you can worry about the in depth stuff.

The spring season starts today. We did pretty well last season so I asked to move up a division.
I have a core group of 6 that have been on the roster since 2006, 1 that's been with us for a couple of seasons, and 4 new players to our roster this season. The core group has been practicing for a month but I've only practiced once with the new kids once.
We play 6 on the field and last season there were only 7 on my roster. If someone didn't show up we didn't have a sub and we had to play short for a game. It's going to feel weird having 11 on the roster this season.
