yeah, the low won't be until around sunrise.. so it could be high 60s at concert time...fruitcks wrote:The latest report says am thunder showers and a high of 72, with a low around 55. It is a shorts night for me, but as my wife says I'm an idiot![]()
Looking forward to seeing everyone in the parking lot. We hope to get there just about when they open the gates.

With the gates opening at 1pm, we'll be shooting to arrive a little earlier in case they open ahead of schedule. If they don't, we'll post-up at the red roof inn parking lot or the side of the road in front of the gates nearby. Our cell # is on the phone list, look for the two tiki bars and little pink flamingos (among other things)

and once again:
why I am glad to be a guy:
a trip like this requires 2 pairs of shorts, flipflops, 4 tshirts, 2 Hawaiian shirts, unmentionables (optional, traveller-preference), and shaving kit (really only have to pack a toothbrush and toothpaste because the hotel provides shampoo...)
there's more weight in the camera/bookbag than there is in the clothing bag. shoot.. there could even be room for the red beads.
Yes... It's great to be a guy.

Hope we're keeping an eye on the weather......again it seems to be looking worse (not jinxing it or anything
) Hopefully though since the gates open at 1 that the early showers may be gone by then....all we get to look forward to is a mushy parking lot..isn't that swell. If it's humid and in the 50's looks like it might be jeans weather for me..boy won't those look silly wit ha grass skirt...i'd rather wear nothing at all.
All I need are some tasty waves, a cool buzz & i'm fine
Well, I was hoping to be one of the early arrivals as I DID take the day off work BUT was informed by my son that he can't miss is algebra class so I have to wait for him! Damn kids! LOL 19 years old and this is his first major concert experience!! I am so excited to show him how it is done in the best way possible, WITH A PHLOCKING! So we will be headed that way about 2:00pm and takes about 45 minutes from here. By the way, my real name didn't make it on to the phone list. It is Jennifer and my son is Montie. See ya there!!
