If the discs that I sent out are skipping all of a sudden, they are going to skip for everyone else.

So the questions is, who was the last person to have burn these discs without skips?

Also, have you tried playing the master discs on different cd players? Sometimes, discs players misread. I have that problem with my car cd player. It will skip on a certain part of a song but when I play it in a cd/dvd player or my pc, the skip is not there. Make sure you have played it on more than one player to ensure that it is indeed the discs.

You should have the master. It is the master that is supposed to be passed along..not a copy of it. Hopefully that is what is circulating. Hmm...could you take a pic of the disc and send it to me?

sorry if i misled you. what i meant by "copy" is the copy that he burned from the masters that is making it's way through the vine.

I have the discs now. The discs seem to be in good shape to me. I didn't have any skips. There are some very light scratches on the master copies so maybe that created some problems for you.
I will be passing them on as soon as i get an address.

I am removing myself from the vine - I got an offer from someone else to send them to me. I normally wouldn't do this but it seems like ages since this vine started. I've allready received and shipped out CD's from Las Vegas in October and West Palm in November.

Unfortunately, the delay with TT held up this vine alot. Right now, Upstate should have them. He told me that he was contacted for his address but people arent bothering to post their updates or pm me when they receive them.
I apologize for the wait and delay to you Malibu and everyone else on this list. That is why it is SO important to stay in contact with your seeder and post your updates.
The holidays have played into this one as well but it is really no excuse. Hopefully this will begin to move again and people will keep up to date these lists. It is very difficult to seed vines AND track everyone down for information. I asked in the beginning for everyone to keep in contact with me as a stipulation to the vine. I guess that part has been forgotten.

Everyone after TT was a victim to that delay. I didnt expect to see anyone repeating the same thing. I burned a second set of discs to move this faster but it doesnt seem to have made much of a difference.
But i would like to thank those who have been considerate to everyone else thus far.

Spooner, you don't have any reason to apologize. The other vines I've been on have moved quickly and people seemed to understand what was asked of them. Not to dis anyone but it is a fact that later concert cd's from October & November have moved at a lightning pace. You seeders are great it's up to everyone who is on the vine to pass the fruit of it on.
