Matt Betton Contributes to Two New Songs

Jimmy Buffett and Matt Betton co-wrote the song "Breathe In, Breathe Out, Move On" which appears on the new album "Take The Weather With You". The song takes a look at the destruction and devastation of New Orleans and the Gulf Coast caused by Hurricane Katrina.

Matt also co-wrote the song "Here We Are" with Jimmy. The song is a homage to Parrotheads, and will also appears on the new album.

Other songs recorded by Jimmy Buffett that were written or co-written by Matt Betton include: "Apocalypso", "Everlasting Moon", "If It All Falls Down", "School Boy Heart", "Someday I Will", "Take It Back", "You'll Never Work In Dis Bidness Again", and "Merry Christmas, Alabama". Matt has now contributed (either written or co-written) to 10 different Buffett songs.

Hell not as bad as having to fourth it.

If I had to make a top ten list at least 4 of those songs would be in it. I really can't wait for this album.

I LOVE Matt's songs! I remember Jimmy saying one time that Matt often writes songs he knows Jimmy will record.
