How did everyone else do?
Since I will be officially uprooting from Milwaukee and be a Lake Worth resident by Oct 20th, no better way to celebrate than in Sec 8 Row P. (always lookin' for an upgrade) Lets get this thread going and make some plans for a pre-show party.
On the corner of 'Walk' and 'Don't Walk' somewhere on US 1.
He's just singing and ordering drinks.

We have a group of 8 coming up from the Keys. Does anyone know what time the parking lot gates open and are RV's welcome?

Anyone have any suggestions for somewhere to stay while in WPB? Not too expensive, but not cheap? Suggestions for somethings to do for a couple of days? Thanks!

Try the Days Inn, Singer Island. Not to far away, right on the ocean, $90 per night.

I would stay close to the airport. Its a good central location, and you should be able to find something in your range. Hotels.com should help with that.

Lynn, here are a couple of places you might want to check out...

Lake Worth's a great little town, if you can look past some of the "issues". I've lived here for 3 years and love it. Shoot me a PM if you'd like any local info or want to get together for a beer once you get here.

Lefty if you get a chance, check out the Sailfish Marina on Singer Island, great food, fantastic view & they always have Buffett & Marley on the radio.

You may want to check out Peanut Island since you're right there.

We called the Sound Advice Ampitheatre and were told that that the parking lot will not open until 5pm and they have a policy against tail gateing.

This puts a major dampening on the pre-concert Parrothead Phlocking.

Any ideas out there amongst the faithful?

For those looking for a hotel, I booked The Ocean Club Beach resort in Palm Beach (on the ocean) for the 14th-16th for $60 per night on Priceline. The rooms are listed for $140 on their website--

I heard staying near Wellington Mall http://maps.google.com/maps?oi=map&q=10 ... ,+FL+33414 is probably your best bet on price and location.

What's this about no tailgating?? Where is the pre-party going to be?
