All those songs in that poll are the ones no one has heard yet. PATEOTW has been played at shows all tour; there's been the Here We Are video all tour, and he's played one or two others at shows, as well.

We're all waiting for the album's release....

1. Bama Breeze

We have all heard the version on the released video and I guess it is the same version on the CD.

2. Party at the End of the World

I've never heard a recorded version, but heard the live version from 2006 shows.

3. Weather With You

Haven't heard the studio version, but Jimmy sang this in Houston in 2003.

4. Everybody's on the Phone

Jimmy did this live at the MSG show 2006.

5. Whoop de Doo

As far as I know, Jimmy has never done this one live. This is a song by Mark Knopfler and you can hear his version on Shangri La. This is a wonderful album. Whoop De Doo is a great blues song.

6. Nothin' But a Breeze
Jimmy did this song live on 8/08 Indy and 8/10 Boston
I have the Jesse Winchester CD and this song is already special. I liked the lyrics change Jimmy did on his live version.

7. Cinco de Mayo in Memphis

I haven't heard of Jimmy playing this one live yet. It will be out on Guy Clark's new Cd on 10/17 called Workbench Songs

8. Reggabilly Hill

I haven't heard much talk about this song and haven't heard the original. Is this the original artist's/writer's web site?

http://www.michaelgarrett.net/index1.htm

9. Elvis Presley Blues

Heard this one by Gillian Welch and her partner David Rawlings. Saw a video of her doing this song too.

10. Hula Girl at Heart

I haven't heard anyone say they have heard this one. I see Will Kimbrough and some of the Coral Reefers helped write it. Maybe Jake will play on this one.

Has anyone heard it yet?

11. Wheel Inside the Wheel

I've heard this one by Mary Gauthier. She just kinda talks this piece. It's from her 2005 release Mercy Now. Mary Gauthier has come down to Austin for Jerry Jeff Walker's Birthday Bash. She sat and picked with some of the dotcoms. That's the first time I heard of her and her personal stories of living in Louisiana. Dixie Kitchen and Filth and Fire are great albums too.

12. Silver Wings
Can't wait to hear the Buffett version of this wonderful song and I can't imagine anyone else not hearing this song from the past.

13. Breathe in, Breathe Out, Move on

This one will be an original first listen for me on Wednesday and it is going to be great to hear it too. It was co-written with Matt Betton, and I'm sure it will be a lyrical gift to us.

14. Duke's on Sunday

Jimmy did this one life at the Honolulu show in 2005. It is also on Henry Kapono's Live Dukes on Sunday
http://www.henrykapono.com/pages/records.html

15. Here We Are

Well here we are. We have heard two versions of this one at the shows this spring and summer. I sure hope this one is on the CD and hope Jimmy talks about it and plays it Wednesday.

Looking forward to this special preview with Jimmy and thank him for all the music. Yes, I will like it. Not sure about all the cover songs, but looking forward to Jimmy doing them based on WHO wrote and recorded them previously.

Whoop De Doo!!!

I'm looking forward to all of them, but especially Breathe In, Breath Out, Move ON.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"

I'm looking forward to Guy's version too, but not as much as Jimmy's. This is going to be such a fun song. Every time I think about it I start singing South Coast of Texas.

The shrimpers and their ladies are out in the beer joints
Drinkin' em down for they sail with the dawn
They're bound for the Mexican Bay of Campche
And the deck hands are singin' adios Jole Blon

I ordered Dukes on Sunday and thanks to a special BNer I now KNOW that the Coral Reefers are gonna make Cinco De Mayo in Memphis quite a celebration.

What a fun song!! (and I've ordered Workbench Songs too!)

So much new music...and I've got the time!

Here's a great BIO for Guy Clark.
