Every pirate is a little bit crazy.
You, though, are more than just a little bit.
Like the rock flint, you're hard and sharp.
But, also like flint, you're easily chipped, and sparky. Arr!
Some people never find it, some only pretend
But me, I just want to live happily ever after every now and then.

Even though there's no legal rank on a pirate ship, everyone recognizes you're the one in charge. You can be a little bit unpredictable, but a pirate's life is far from full of certainties, so that fits in pretty well. Arr!
You're the pirate everyone else wants to throw in the ocean -- not to get rid of you, you understand; just to get rid of the smell. You have the good fortune of having a good name, since Rackham (pronounced RACKem, not rack-ham) is one of the coolest sounding surnames for a pirate. Arr!
Dread Pirate Flint
Like the famous Dread Pirate Roberts, you have a keen head for how to make a profit. Like the rock flint, you're hard and sharp. But, also like flint, you're easily chipped, and sparky. Arr!

Passion is a big part of your life, which makes sense for a pirate. You have the good fortune of having a good name, since Rackham (pronounced RACKem, not rack-ham) is one of the coolest sounding surnames for a pirate. Arr!

'Cause I want to be there, I want to go back down and lie beside the sea there ...
Well I’m a tidal pool explorer
From the days of my misspent youth
I believe that down on the beach
Where the seagulls preach

Like the famous Dread Pirate Roberts, you have a keen head for how to make a profit. Even through many pirates have a reputation for not being the brightest souls on earth, you defy the sterotypes. You've got taste and education. Arr!
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do So throw off the bowlines Sail away from the safe harbor Catch the trade winds in your sails Explore Dream Discover

And raccoons brought wine and the mice they brought cheese...

I forgot to add, that on the actual 'Talking Like A Pirate Day" I send out a few emails to my contacts (that I had that level of a relationship with) signed 'Dread Pirate Sy the Slightly Demented' with links to both the 'www.talklikeapirate.com' and this pirate name generator.
And yes, I told my boss I had done this...she thought I was demented but that is okay. She did change her tune when several of those contacts emailed me back with their pirate names...including my customer's in Brasil, Ningbo China, and several in Mexico. My contact in Canada did reply.....but only to tell me I was a crazy American...but he liked that!

A pirate's life isn't easy; it takes a tough person. That's okay with you, though, since you a tough person. You have the good fortune of having a good name, since Rackham (pronounced RACKem, not rack-ham) is one of the coolest sounding surnames for a pirate. Arr!
Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar
Passion is a big part of your life, which makes sense for a pirate.

$#@&...only Vegas again?? Padres ...gotta start believin'!Bring on '14 Spring Training!
Every pirate lives for something different. For some, it's the open sea. For others (the masochists), it's the food. For you, it's definitely the fighting. Even though you're not always the traditional swaggering gallant, your steadiness and planning make you a fine, reliable pirate. Arr!
