Wouldn't it be cool if at every concert he had those who had a 40th birthday on that day (proven by valid drivers license) come on stage and help him sing APLAF?
Guess there'd be too many fake IDs of people trying to be 40 for that to work!
That would be a first!

Irvine Meadows from Mass!
Does it count that I knew I was already going to be in Rancho Mirage (Palm Springs) when they put the tickets on sale or does it just become a 2 hour-ish drive?

Good question...
I don't know which is further...
Phoenix to Fenway
or
Portland, Oregon to Charlotte, NC
or
Seattle to Boston/Great Woods...

Phoenix to Fenway is about 2300 miles and Portland OR. to Charlotte is about 2275.

Wow, some really long distances from these posts!
My record, in 2000, I saw 12+ shows from my base in San Diego...including:
Nissan in DC.....5000 miles RT (give or take), two shows
Boston/Great Woods (2 shows).....same
Indy - an amphitheatre somewhere in a cornfield (I am not kidding)
Charlotte
Chicago - Tinley I think it was called
Alpine Valley
Vegas (twice I think) MGM Grand
Phoenix Desert Sky
San Diego
Irvine (2 shows)
LA (the Millenium show at Universal New Year's Eve)
All told, about 22,000 plus miles (mostly on a plane) just to see Jimmy in 12 months!

that mileage does not include the four (4) trips to Margaritaville, two (2) trips to Howl at the Moon, three (3) trips to Bahama Breeze.....and the coutless miles looking for a shop that sold a greeting card in Plant City, FL...which CAN NOT BE FOUND.....we settled for a blank envolope from a gas station attendant...........Hence...I apologize for the envolope with the hand written message Topless.....but know that the thought was there......

Nope, it's in my past. January 2 years ago ... went to the Blonde Strangers on Bourbon Street, which was at the same time as the Pardi Gras.... it was great. Hello to everyone in the NOPHC- I still have my hat!

I didn't add up the mileage, but I think I got you beat. From last year (all by plane unless noted):
NY/Jacksonville
NY/Tampa
NY/Las Vegas
NY/Honolulu
NY/Uncasville, CT (Mohegan Sun), drove to that one, about 270 miles round trip
NY/Pittsburgh
NY/Cincinnati
NY/Philadelphia by way of Connecticut, drove to that one, with the side trip to CT it was probably around 250 miles +/-
NY/Chicago (2 shows)
my office to Madison Square Garden for the From The Big Apple To The Big Easy Hurricane Katrina Benefit show, walked to that one, it's only 15 blocks
NY/San Francisco/Las Vegas/NY

LIPH,
Yes, you beat me! You really are on a roll with that type of tour attendance! I really wanted to fly out for the MSG show this year, but was just in NYC on biz the previous week and could not make it out.
If you travels permit, we will be at the San Diego show 10/26. This is a great show, and a great tailgate. Come on down.....you can party with us west coast Buffett freaks
