Do you love your job?

Post by SchoolGirlHeart »

Despise it?

Work at it because it pays the bills?

Hate it some days, but mostly it's not too bad?

Truly love it?

Anyone who has a job you love, truly, count your blessings, over and over and over.....

I *love* my job. I'm doing what I was meant to do. Having people trust me with their stories is just awesome.

The *mechanics* of the job leave a lot to be desired, but at the end of the day, I am happy to be here.

Of course, if I won the lottery, I would be on Big Beach in Maui . . . finishing the book. :D And SGH would be with me . . . and anyone else who wanted to be there . . . we'd build a BN compound. And have Jimmy over to the MACC every January.

Oh, yeah, baby! :D

I did love my job.....and always felt that I was doing what I was supposed to be for the most part. Fortunately, when things changed and I no longer felt the same way about the job, I was able to retire and move on. I've been pretty lucky.

I enjoy what i do. (Materials Management) Only once did I ever hate a job (shortly after a major corp. -Comcast purchased my company and stripped me of all my responsibilities and accountabilities. I was allowed to keep my dumb-downed position and salary though. I hated being a cog.

I have loved my job for 25.5 years of the 26 years I have been there ...

Its a touchy subject right now

Yet another "wellbeing" meeting set up for me this Monday morning ....

I am suffering a work related illness and tired of being "psycho analysed" every 5 minutes ....
