Once I get more information I will definitely pass it along. I can't bear to think about gasp.....retirement or even a hiatus in 2007. He said the same thing about 2006 - wanting to spend more time with his kids, but we all see how that worked out. Come on Jimmy!

I did hear him say that he was already working on another album, so surely he'll tour again at least to promote it. We'll see.

Are there any mathmeticians here on BN? Can somebody make a graph of tour dates since the beginning? Is there a way to combine that graph with one showing the areas/cities of the country where he plays? How about a graph of tour dates with an overlay of cities...????

Just asking this question made my wittle head hurt. [smilie=boggl3y3dummy-ani.gif] [smilie=graytard.gif] [smilie=shake.gif]

That would be one hell of a graph. I used the song & set list database to come up with some general figures. There have been a total of 1,012 shows since January 2, 1974 in 172 different cities. The dates are across the board for the most played cities...mainly Summer/Early Fall. The last time he played in St. Louis was 7/18/2000.....I heard he had issues at Riverport Ampitheatre (Bank One Pavillion)...anyone know what they were? Possibly no tailgating?

The top 10 locations are:

City, State Times played
Columbia, MD 48
Cincinnati, OH 46
Mansfield, MA 44
Atlanta, GA 38
Irvine, CA 26
Charlotte, NC 25
Denver, CO 24
Burgettstown, PA 23
Noblesville, IN 23
Raleigh, NC 23

He's such a tease! Alluded to early 2007 dates "somewhere in the Caribbean"....also mentioned maybe a "Pacific date"! I turn 40 in March- let's hope I can be on a nice warm sunny beach somewhere with my Parrothead on!

Please!! No need to do all this fretting. Of course he will tour in 2007--- he needs us as much as we need him...and not just for the money either....

Believe me, he hasnt been doing this for 40 years for the bucks...he had more money than God years ago....

He'll probably change things a little in time, to make them easier for him, but if his health permits, he'll be out to see his parrotheads as long as we are....

And he says as much at every concert, seems to me....

Oh, he loves to tease us about it, and probably will again, but, mark my words, he'll be there!!!

So will we! Feel better now??

He played there on February 14, 2002.......if you book him - he will come!

[smilie=happydance.gif]

By the way, I've been trying to get this quote option to work and I think I've had a few too many tequilla shots over the last 15 years. Any help out there? [smilie=boggl3y3dummy-ani.gif]
