Converting wav and mp3 files

Post by wpmcsg »

I am trying to convert some Total Recorder files to mp3 format for a friend, and I also have some old mp3 files that I need to convert to wav format.

Can this be done? I have access to Roxio Easy CD creator 5, along with TR and the software that came on my HP media center.

Any clues out there?

Thanks and Finz uP!

You can either play and rerecord the files using total recorder with the recording parameters set for MP3 or download a converter program.

You can download iTunes from Apple and
it can do the conversions for you

You can open each song, click file-"Save as" (no need to change the name if you dont want to), then you'll see the "change" button towards the bottom. Click "change", and a new window opens up with many different option boxes to change your format. Click the drp down boxes to see which one you prefer. Than it processes the file and saves it for you. BAM!!! You've got it in two formats now.
